Spring at the Hut 2013 – all you need for sowing and growing.

Levingtons F1 Seed and Levingtons F2 with sand.  Big 75 litre sacks (£8.90) of Levingtons are too much for most people, so we are selling smaller quantities @ 10 litres for £1.20.   Ask a helper for the amount you require.

Vermiculite improves the aeration and drainage of any growing medium.  Mix in up to one third by volume of vermiculite with the growing medium.  5 litres of vermiculite costs £1.20.

Don’t forget the EHS hanging basket and container competition.  Judging will be in July, so start planning now!  Further details and forms will be available at the end of April at the Hut and at EHS talks. 

Get what you need from the hut: hanging basket with liner (all sizes) for £3, growing media, swellgel (to hold water), osmocote/sincrocell (controlled release fertiliser) and perlite.

Vine weevil becomes active when the soil temperature rises above 4°C.  Remember to purchase Provado Vine Weevil Killer to get rid of this pest.

Bargain  fertilisers.  Compare our prices for fertilisers with those in the shops and you’ll find ours much cheaper, and in small or large quantities as required.

Got a big plot to cover?  We have one 25kg bag of an agricultural root crop fertiliser and a balanced crop fertiliser for £5 each.  First come first served.
