There are 45 classes for children and young people aged from 4 to 13.  Even if you have not exhibited before, it is worth having a go and there are novice classes to try your skills out in if you prefer.

An eclectic mix of around 70 stalls, refreshment outlets, tombola, arts & crafts, face painting, traditional sweets, historic gardening tools display, entertainments and pony rides will be there and continuous events in the arenas will see the return of flying falcons from First Class Falconry together with, The Homested Dog Agility Team and The Devil’s Jump Clog Dance Group.  We also anticipate a visit from an excellent steel band and some delightful Labrador Gun dogs.  As usual, The Fun Dog Show will be a great attraction – just bring your dogs on the  day.

The Show Time Tables will be placed on the website in August.

The Show runs from 10.30am to 5pm at the Jubilee Recreation Ground, Horndean Road with the EHS Exhibition Marquee opening at 1pm after the judging has been completed and the Mayor of Havant has declared Emsworth Show officially open. To conclude the afternoon there will be a presentation of the prizes by Nigel Budgen, manager of Hillier’s Garden Centre, Chichester followed by an auction of donated produce.
The entry fee is £2.50 with accompanied children under 12 free. There is limited parking on the Show Ground which is an additional £2 per car. This is family entertainment at its best.

150 plus EHS volunteers are needed to run the Show and we need more volunteers to help, especially for clearing up at the end of the Show – so if you would like to help please see the attached helpers form and let us know if you can lend a hand.
