Garden Courses at West Dean College
With   shorter,   darker   days   and   winter   approaching,   we   can’t   be   outside   in   our   Gardens   as   much   we   would   like   to, but   instead,   but   we   can   look   forward   to   next   year,   plan   what   changes   we   could   make,   what   new   skills   we   could learn,   what   new   things   we   could   grow.      Whatever   your   horticultural   interests,   we   hope   you   will   find   a   gardening course   to   inspire   you   at   West   Dean   College   in   2017.         When   you   attend   a   course,   you   can   also   stay   with   us,   in   the beautiful,   historic   West   Dean   House,   and   explore   the   100   acres   of   glorious   award-winning   Gardens   and   Parkland   in the   heart   of   the   South   Downs   National   Park   in   West   Sussex.         There   is   a   Kitchen   Garden,   Walled   Fruit   Garden, Victorian Glasshouses, Arboretum, Sunken Garden and 300ft-long Pergola, Spring and Wild Gardens.  For details, costs and how to book, follow this link:  click here
Second Annual National Gardens Scheme Snowdrop Festival
More   than   80   gardens   will   open   their   gates   for   the National      Gardens      Scheme      (NGS)      Snowdrop Festival    during    February,    to    mark    the    imminent change    of    season    with    their    snowdrop    displays.
