EMSWORTH GARDENS OPEN DAYS Sunday 16th June & Thursday 4th July
Meadowlark, 4 Elderfield Close Two contrasting ‘Mother & Daughter’ gardens close to the centre of Emsworth. Mum: Meadowlark is a small Mediterranean-style garden densely planted with a large range of small shrubs, ornamental trees, perennials and climbers. Full of inspiration for those with a limited space plus innovative ideas for container planting. Winner Emsworth Horticultural Society small garden competition. Daughter: With its eclectic mix of plants and ornaments, 23 New Brighton Road features a narrow 250ft-long garden which ranges from full sun to full shade where informal planting maximises the available space. A large number of containers, a wildlife pond, greenhouse, summerhouse, shady reading area and mixed borders. Unusual plants and an unusual garden for the plants person and a display of old garden tools.
