Would   fellow   EHS   members   want   to   purchase   some   purple   Crocus   bulbs?   They   cost   £6.00 for 50 and £10 for 100.     Any    funds    raised    will    be    used    to    support    the    Polio    Eradication    Programme    which    is supported by Rotary. The   plan   is   to   raise   awareness   of   the   polio   eradication   programme   by   having   large   numbers of   purple   crocus   flower   appear   in   the   spring.   By   selling   the   bulbs   money   is   also   raised   for the campaign "End Polio Now". Purple   was   chosen   as   the   colour   because   that   is   the   colour   of   the   dye   put   on   children's’ fingers after they receive the vaccine. The bulbs should be available in October in time for planting this autumn. Please email your requests, to colin@huntfamily.org.uk               Strictly on a first come basis. There   is   a   splendid   display   which   have   naturalised   around   the   feet   of   the   soldier   in   the memorial   garden   at   Jubilee   Park   in   Emsworth.   And   in   various   other   public   places,   so   please look out for them and plant some in your own garden to help this valuable cause. Thank you Jenny Edgell
